Select the files you wish to backup Ordinarily, you will have an idea as to which files are important to have backed up. Typically, customer databases, accounting/financial software and E-Mail are the three most important areas to consider. Other specific types may include source code or design documents. You do not need to backup your operating system files or program files as these items can be reinstalled if required.
